First let me explain what does these two terms signify in RDP:
RDP is the Role Development Plan. It is a combination of a sequence of internal exams that you need to pass over a fixed period of time. It comprises of a few certificates that you achieve once you pass these exams.
Next is the CCA which is the Cognizant Career Architecture. This actually is a model to shape your career as per Cognizant needs. It may or may not be as per the training that you are provided initially. As part of this, you are assigned a pre-determined ‘Role’ by your Supervisor. After the Role is assigned, you will be provided with a number of skills you need to choose from. Once the skills match your Role and your skills are whitelisted (i.e., they reach optimum level), you need to save that and your Supervisor will be approving that. It is advisable to choose these skills wisely, as the entire RDP will be generated based on these skills that you choose Click Here.
Lastly, the RDP is as hard as the skills that you choose and the material available for the courses accordingly. Some of the courses have lots of materials available at Cognizant Academy. if you follow that, it is easy to pass these exams. Some are not. Do check for dumps for the certifications assigned to you.
The consequences for not clearing the RDP is still not very clear. It has been introduced only recently. The complete impact for these organization wide changes can only be understood after 3–4 years. The immediate consequence may be poorer ratings at the end of the year.
